KY teacher in trouble for politically charged statement

Featured Replies

I think it's hard to nail down what her intent was simply by her locale.

I do believe if she wrote this because she agrees with the statement, she should be dismissed. You can't have that kind of nonsense in a classroom.

Her locale doesn't help her case either.

Would anyone feel any differently if the teacher was a registered democrat?

You mean is she was a D and wrote "Dems don't go to heaven?"

I can think of quite a few who wouldn't have a problem with that.

There will be a follow-up story in the Sentinel-Echo on Wednesday according to the writer.

That would be an interesting twist.

One of my first thoughts concerning the schools reaction involved a little disappointment and a lot of sarcasm..."You mean Democrats get to go to heaven!" :madman:

Oops...I forgot to end all of this with a :D, so no one took me to serious.

Who have you been hanging around? Dems don't believe in Heaven or Hell but if they did they would want to keep them separated. :D

At least she didn't have sex with the student.

 Maybe that's why he ratted on her.

Look for the news to come out this week that the teacher admitted to the superintendent that she put it up because she agreed with the statement.

Like I tried to tell PP92, I knew this was the case.

That's because you're psychic. Palm reader and stuff.

Wait, so that means she proved my stereotype right? Well, shoot. That's not good.

I was starting to hope it really was a discussion topic.
