Didn't Montgomery want it the last time around?

Yes he did. long story but Bellevue administration dropped the ball and hired Russ Schearer who then left after a year.

I don't know if he would consider it now but if Bellevue was smart they would do whatever necessary to get him. he would get all support from city and alumni.

A change here is long overdue.

 

Easy to forget that Boone was still playing this time last year and was within two points of the semifinal. Down the street at Cooper they are ready to name the stadium after the coach and a few steps in the other direction people are pleased with the direction that Conner is going after reaching round three last year and round two this year.

 

I agree that there have been times that Boone has struggled, but it seems that Rick has brought them on a deep playoff run every time people start to count him out.

Kind of like Mike Brown and the Bengals, make the playoffs one season and get everyone's hopes up for the next few years to come and then return to crap.

Impossible place. I feel bad for the kids who want to compete bc the deck is stacked against them. Nick did his best under the circumstances. I knew about his resignation a week or so ago. Newport as a community is letting itself go, so to speak. Personal accountability needs to be the theme there.

It was not. It had to do w the inner workings of one of the most dysfunctional school districts in the state, from what I have been told.

Is Mike Yeagle coaching anywhere? Would he consider Newport or Bellevue?

Well Cooper next year I believe is getting a coach of the year to coach the Jaguars :sssh:
