Don't know if you've watched both teams but their are no scenarios where this stays close. HC team last year had a bunch of athletes and big upfront and QB could make plays out of nothing. WV is way overmatched, hats off to them for getting to this point, they started playing just a couple years ago. "That's why you play the game" cliché only works when their is an outside chance.

I have seen both teams many times and the Breds are not unbeatable and Walton can do it. Yes it will take a flawless game by Walton and some bounces going their way but winable.

Lloyd missed tying the game on a 3rd down pass play with a few seconds left. 5 weeks ago Lloyd had a running clock put on them with 8 mins left in the 3rd q when they played NCC. 0 turnovers for Walton doesn't change the outcome. People on here sound like Don King trying to promote a heavy weight fight. NCC isn't unbeatable....they're just unbeatable this week. Yes they have to play the game and I can't wait to see Walton playing in a regional championship. The fans, coaches, and players should be proud and excited but us folks on here aren't coaches talking to our players, so no need to pump something up and act like if they play flawless turnover free ballgame that they can win.

That's your opinion not fact. Not pumping up telling the truth.

Walton had 15 plus exchange problems and multiple fumbles. This game could have been 50 to 6 without the mistakes. They have never had even close to that many problems in the previous games combined. 24 total penalties called in this game and your telling me it does matter? Come on..:irked:

When you run shotgun with your QB 2 and half yards away from center and an end over end snap you're going to have exchange problems. Now you tell me, is that opinion or fact?

Tell me how we didn't have a problem till the last game then? Fact not opinion.

Only if Walton makes mistakes(fumbling, interceptions, penalties etc).
Exactly. There's a lot of people underestimating Walton-Verona here. That's simply because NCC has the long history, and people really don't know much about Walton. I see this game being close, with the Bearcats having the opportunity to pull out the win, if NCC makes some mistakes. In any case, Walton-Verona needs to play their very best game. Play hard -- play smart -- never quit!

Walton should have beaten Lloyd by at least four touchdowns. If they avoid all the miscues they had in that game, they've got a shot at it.

CGG12...you should be very careful about how confident you are. Basing all this confidence on one common opponent is very thin ice...not much to stand on. If you consider the other common opponents of Gallatin County and Bishop Brossart it doesn't appear to be as lopsided as you are spinning. These outcomes were pretty similar blow outs with both teams beating Gallatin by the same margin (36) and NCC beating Brossart by 13 more. (WV beat them 45-0, NCC beat them 58-0)

WV could show up and play a very bad game, just like anyone else. But, I am telling you, they are better than what you are giving them credit for. If they keep the turnovers even, this will be close. They have the athletes to compete and a very strong running game. I predict a very good and competitive game.

First off I'm going off what I've watched up to this point, Newport and Lloyd games. Judging from scores where NCC could have scored 100 is no comparison. I'm sure Walton could have scored more also but compare games like that. Second, don't say if the turnovers are even that it will be close. Walton would need to be pretty high on the plus side for turnovers to make this a close game. Watched their 2 most recent games and I just don't see it but the more we talk the closer we get to Friday night.

A nice little write up in the paper today. The Walton kids seem very excited respectful and ready to play. Nice to see a young program work hard and build a solid team.
