Does anyone else find it ironic that the "providers" are forcing more people into becoming the "takers" they are railing against?
Are you really that uninformed about how business works? Do you really believe the "providers" are just being spiteful?
I am of the opinion that there may be an initial backlash from some of our corporate citizens to try and assert their influence. However, I also believe that in many industries, the decision will eventually be reversed because as the economy improves, there will be more demand for goods and services and there wil be a need to hire to keep up. In industries like coal, there may be additional layoffs and cut backs, but I don't think 100% can be attributed to AHCA, and companies who use that as the sole reason are deceptive in their public comments to, again, assert influence.

What does it matter what percent it is? Bad policy by the Wizards of Smart in Washington brings bad consequences.

Not ironic if you think of it as the "providers" being forced to force more people into becoming "takers".

No and Yes
Dismantle the EPA for starters.
Sure and let the polluters run rampant and create more Love Canals .The inmates must never run the asylum .
See AEP Lawrenceburg, IN.
The last job I worked on before I retired in 2004 . Worked on it for over two years , both in prefab and installation . For a company owned by Henry's Family

What do you see happening to make the economy improve?

No and Yes
Wow!! You really know very little about how business really works. Spoken like a true Unionite.

Business hasn't worked for over 5 years it has been just sitting on it's hands

I am not in favor of dismantling the EPA has it has done a lot of good in year's past. But someone has to check them.

I intend no disrespect, but your opinion on business is puzzling. Do you really think business exists solely to employ people? Do you really think that business has been "sitting on its hands for 5 years", purposely cutting/reducing productivity and revenue just for spite?

I hear all the reports about the record amounts that business' have in their coffers just sitting on those profits and how they have been waiting to see what this election would bring. Well the election has come and gone . What happens now ?

I can assure you that NO small business has coffers full of cash. Larger companies, maybe. Small business is the engine that drives a free market economy. In a control and command economy that nosey, busybody Liberals love, small business gets choked and stifled. This country will look RADICALLY different 2 years from now.

By laying off people because they can't afford to keep them?
