I was shocked when Campbell punted with 4 minutes left in the game.

I didn't think they would punt but they got a pretty good result. Campbell's punt team did a nice job pinning us inside the five two times.

Kuntz and SK looked really good last night. He managed the game very well and didn't make any bad decisions outside of the 20 yard loss for a sack that he took. Should've just thrown it away but instead tried to make a play. Sampson was slow to get going at the beginning but when it mattered and he needed to make plays, the O-line and Sampson came up with big first downs to run the clock out and put pressure on the Camel offense deep in their own territory. Sampson took a huge shot on one of his runs and got right back up. Kid is tough.

 

Great game on both sides of the ball for SK. Swanson and I believe #14 had several big pass break ups that would have been big gains for the Camels. Receivers were wide open and both closed on the ball quick to make a play.

 

Camels were undersized on both sides of the ball but showed a lot of heart. It's a shame someone had to lose last night. Good luck to SK againt Scott Co...pulling for the nky team but they are in for a long night, unfortunately.

 

 

The loss on the sack was pretty bad. It looked to be a screen pass and CCH had a jailbreak blitz coming. I don't know how he avoided the first guy and had a chance to throw but didn't.

Congrats to Pioneers on the win. Camels had a great season. Now on to basketball season for me.

UKFan, just let the Kuntz kid be recognized as a strong QB. You put out false stats about him and it is not necessary. We all know he is good. IMO he has a chance to be a NAIA/D3 QB and a nice one at that. Don't force people to correct your errors at his expense.

Somebody shouldn't have said I posted false stats!

Kuntz still has room for improvement. I have seen Barker on tape and Bir in person. Brennan needs to improve his composure and decision making when a play breaks down. I have still seen him panic in the pocket. A lot of this can be attributed to him playing varsity last year out of necessity. He was hit a lot last year and had little run game support. Barker and Bir are a little more polished in this sense, but they were not thrown to the wolves like Brennan.

 

This also ties in to my refutation of the SOS arguments. This QB would not have developed with a brutal schedule at the start of the year. Coming off last year, his confidence would not have survived. While Brennan may not have developed into a QB that can win games through spread offense throwing alone, he is doing extremely well complimenting the run game out of power running formations.
