Sounds right, how about Rand Paul?

I like Rand but think that too many people would paint him as younger version of his dad, while not a deal breaker with me would drive many nuts.

Rubio or Christie....Although it's not going to matter. After last night's results, I'm fairly confident our country has shifted far too much for any current "Republican" to have even a fighter's chance.

Too many people that are relying on the Government to take care of them.

And that's not going to get any better.

I agree about the shift in this country. Today's moderates are last decades liberals.

I'm not that familiar with Rand or Ron Paul's ideas but don't they differ on a few issues?

Rand Paul would be the worst thing for this country, he is a divider. Republicans need a strategy that brings latino's in to the fold. Demographics are changing and being the party of old white people isn't going to cut it anymore. Rand talks about pointless stuff just to get attention and divide, i.e. when he took the floor to grip about money going to Libya, not even Republicans agreed with him on cutting Libya's funding. Last night a prominent Paul supporter on my facebook page put something on her post a picture of rand paul followed by a status "something good will come of this tragedy" to which another Paul supporter responded "Civil War? ;)". Paul would lose miserably, but even worse I dread to think what would happen to this country if he won.

Only here recently as Rand as tried to build a more national image to have a shot at the white house.

Kinda like a canidate using revenge as a motivator to vote? Just saying that being divider doesn't seem to disqualify a canidate. For the record I'm not endorsing Rand Paul, I mention him only because I have heard other mention his name as a possibility.

I still think that the actual number of people that would rather do nothing than those willing to work is much smaller than being talked about everywhere.

The GOP nominee needs to paint a picture of America moving forward under his or her leadership and not get caught up in marginalizing any group. I think most people are looking forward for something and aren't as worried about what has happened as they are about what will happen.

I would say that even before thinking about a front runner, the GOP has to reconsider how it nominates its candidates. Clearly, nominating tea party candidates has been catesthrophic. The nominating process needs to be open to independents, and perhaps even liberals. There is no point in nominating ideologicals that are unelectable.

Who is it? Christie

Who should it be? Gary Johnson

Why? Because he would be great for this country.
