It's not just about the dollars. But the dollars help buy uniforms for the complainers fat daughters.

If you have a kid on a bad football team and you know you are going to get beat so bad and i mean the JV team coming in in the second half is 40 points better...you enjoy the two hour drive to see your team do nothing in the cold is a good experience for you and the kid? In the extreme you guys are correct. But that is for the 1 loss teams Facing juggernauts. There are plenty of good 1st round games. For instance, Tates Creek was the 4 seed last year and had to travel to1 seed Campbell county where they lost a 22-20 heartbreaker with 2 passes in the end zone from the 20 yd line at the horn. There are some good games that come from this format.

I just think that if the justification for the playoff system as we currently have it is simply $, I think that is a pretty sorry playoff system. The playoffs should be competitively gained, and competitively played.

That's totally true. But we could have more competitive games in a different format and render a champion more easily and better for the fans and the state. Do you agree?

I agree you. I am by no means justifying the current structure. But that is just 1 small aspect that I have an issue with the KHSAA....

There are so many more issues that are higher up on my list. Like the competitive disadvantages that Fayette County restricts itself with......folks wonder why Lexington football is lackluster.......SMH
