The question isn't who you want to win or who are you voting for, but who do you think will win on Election Day?

I've said all along I believe the President wins re-election. I've likened this race to 2004 & believe the results will be similar.

In 2004, the incumbent won the popular vote by 2.4%...I think we'll see a similar margin of victory this time.

In 2004, the incumbent won the electoral vote 286-251. I think it will either be 294-244 or 281-257 in favor of the President. Virginia is the one state I'm just not sure of right now.

Regardless, this thread is about who you predict to win. Pretend there is a million dollars on the line for you by getting it right. Who do you think?

I've said all along I think it'll be the President winning, but that it's not unrealistic to think Gov. Romney has a shot. I think it'll be something along the lines of 275-263 or something similar. Wisconsin will end up deciding the election IMO.

I know we disagree on this, but I think it's all about Ohio.

Take your pick really. If it's as close as I believe it will be, Ohio or Wisconsin going one way or the other would determine the outcome.

There has never been a more polarizing person in the Oval Office than Barack Obama. I think Romney wins and wins by more than most think possible.

I don't buy that. He's more polarizing than Lincoln?

I think Obama wins easily.

Too late for that.

That's fair. Still, I remember an awful lot of vitriol and an awful lot of unbelievable things said during the last administration as well.

Could be a sign of the times?

Read about the Incumbent Rule here.

Basically it's saying 80% of undecideds tend to vote for the challenger, especially when the economy is the #1 issue.

What this means is (if true) that in any swing state where the % of undecideds is greater than the % lead for the POTUS, there's a high likelihood of Gov. Romney winning.

I hope not but I think Obama wins.
