it is sad to admit, but I never really thought too much about the 1 game a year teams would wear pink socks or whatever for breast cancer awareness etc. but this year was eye opening. Cooper and Dixie are picked their game against eachother for this this year. One of Dixie's coaches wifes has been stricken with the horrible disease and we are thinking up special ways to honor that game, both teams will wear their pink socks etc. and for me personally it means a lot, my sister was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and I truly learned what a special night like that means to many people. Good luck and God bless everyone who acknowledges what a special games these are.

Cool gesture. It's a charity thing I've seen in recent years here in volleyball, and other teams have accessorized with gloves, cleats, headbands, wristbands, etc. What would have been really cool is if adidas had also done this with a public school in a depressed area so that they could do the same thing and give those schools a chance to raise some money for their programs and for the cause, schools which certainly don't enjoy the donor base Trinity does and could certainly use the publicity much more than Trinity.
