Carol is alive. Finds Lori and saves her. Carl didn't shoot her. Thoughts?

 

We don't know that Laurie was dead before they left the room. She passed out. Yes there was a lot of blood, but no body whatsoever? Nothing? And if Carl shot Laurie, why was the bullet on the ground? Bloated and bloody walker, maybe he ate the "bad" prisoner that the "good" prisoner shot?

The fact that there was no body makes me think that she was moved. She might still be dead, but I think she was moved. And maybe the phone ringing is a little different twist from the comic books?

 

I believe Carol is still alive. I do think Lori is dead, but both of you are making me rethink that position. It's really hard to tell.

 

Regarding the phone, if Lori isn't dead, it could be yet another way for the creators to bring the comic book to life, but with a little bit of a twist. I think I posted before that Robert Kirkman said they purposefully twist things so that the comic book fans can't really know what to expect next, ala Hershel losing a leg instead of Dale.

He has his own agenda. I'm just guessing but I believe he is working on a cure

 

Totally agree that he has his own agenda. Not sure if he's working on a cure, but he's definitely working on something that will be a plot twist of some kind.

I think Michonne is gone from Woodbury but I think she comes back on her own to try and save Andrea.

Darryl has come a LONG way from uncooperative rebel to assuming the role of Alpha Male, at least until Rick returns from Wackyland.

 

Michonne smile sighting! The only time I have seen a little smile was after she opened that gate and stood "machete ready" to slaughter the walkers.

I think it was called I'm A Raging Psychopath & This Book Proves It. :lol: Seriously, I didn't pay close attention to the actual names, but perhaps it is just recording the names of Woodbury's citizens?

 

When she read that book, it reminded me of the scene from the movie Seven when Brad Pitt & Morgan Freeman find the killer's "diary" of sorts. It's one of those scenes designed to let us know that we're dealing with someone whose elevator doesn't go all the way to the top floor.

Or---Rick finds Walker Laurie and because of the phone calls, he can't put her down and keeps her locked in a cell like a pet Penney....

Interesting read. I don't think I like the part to where they allude to "IF" Daryl lives.

But lots happening in the first 5 episodes, and I am sure more is to come.

 

Michonne out on her own, does she come back to woodbury, or does she meet up with others later?

 

Rick vs. Merle in the Gladiator Zombie pit.

Greg Nicotero, the Director of this last episode, says that the zombie in the floor indeed ate Lori & even said the zombie had her hair on his face & mouth.

I don't know if it's been explained elsewhere or not...but, I'm a little confused by Penny's behavior at the beginning. It seems like she was quiet and calm, before having her scalp ripped off. (And let's face it, who wouldn't get mad at that happening!) But, it looked like her arms were untied before that, and she was sitting there with no struggle. So, what gives? Does he keep her fully fed, so she won't be aggressive?

Greg Nicotero also basically said that Carol was dead. He said that there were three graves and the one that was empty was for Lori. He said a scene was filmed, but not included that involved Daryl and Maggie. Maggie describes cutting Lori open and then Daryl reacts to Carol's death.

 

If Carol really is dead, I don't understand why they neglected to show it on screen.
