CCH finally gets one to go their way. Great job blue colonels.

Hopefully Ethan's injury isn't too severe. I think he's going to be a heck of a varsity player in the next few years.

Good win for the real Colonels though!

He's kicking for the varsity too, isn't he?

This is a talented group of young men who are better than they've shown. They have been in every game and could just as easily be 6-1 instead of 3-3-1. Not to mention they had a very winnable game against Conner canceled due to weather. Finishing on an uptick and beating Beechwood next week will help the boys feel better.

Several boys should contribute next year including Darlington (RB/LB), Timmerman (DL/WR), Dressman (QB/LB), McGinness (WR/DB), Schwartz (DB/RB), Steins (DL/OL) and Shields (DL/OL) among others.

I don't know the boys you mention but I look forward to watching them the next three years.

With that, CCH is in trouble if they are going to count on this many sophomores at the varsity level.

To clarify- I'm simply saying "contributing" to the varsity- not that the varsity will be "counting" on them.

Poor wording on my part.

If you mean maybe getting some ST action or maybe one of them getting varsity reps then I can see that.

I've lived through a year where too many sophs played/started varsity. It's a tough year.

I doubt they will be feeling any better. Should be an excellent game next week, but I suspect the Tigers will be getting some payback for their Varsity Brothers.

I guess we'll see. If CCH can stay turnover free and cause one of there own, I see no reason why they couldn't win.

No chance.. Beechwood frosh are on a different level than the CovCath boys this year..

I'll give you a reason. Beechwood is much better.......

34-13 tigers.

I guess- but who'd have thought Dixie could beat Ryle last week either? Lots of parity on the Freshman level in N Ky this year. Beechwood excellent no doubt- but stranger things have happened.
