Give me the Irish over a team that saw fit to have LaGarrette Blount on their team.

I disagree. PAC 12 has a title game, so Oregon will have "last licks", so to speak. Oregon will play a ranked team in that game and leap frog ND if ND passes them.

Good point.

But having said that, I don't see the Catholics leapfrogging the Ducks.

I take it you're not a fan of professional football?

While I agree with you, it could come down to which of them (if either) is able to beat USC more conviningly at the end of the season. My thought is that Oregon would deserve it but $$$ follow Notre Dame and have a way of influencing a great many things that look to be cut and dried.

For every other BCS game, it comes down to the dollars, yes. For the title game, it will come down to computers, and polls and a confluence of factors. I think that the Pac 12 title game will be significant because ND won't play that week. I can't see ND having a lead that is so insurmountable that the Pac 12 title game wouldn't allow the Ducks to jump the Irish.

:D Funny, I am a card-carrying catholic boy from NYC. I love me some Golden Dome.

I was force fed Notre Dame by older cousins in Indiana when I was a kid...:puke:

Maybe....the Gator D is one of the best in the country and the offense is getting better every week.

Gator D does look really really good, not sure they can score enough on Bama to beat them though.

Alabama vs. Kansas State

I am big time Gator fan would like to see them get a chance to play Bama but they have to beat South Carolina and Georgia to get there which will be a tough task and to compete for national championship will also have to beat Florida State but if Gators can win those game would look forward to them playing Bama and as I said I am big time Gator fan but still think Bama best team in the country. GO GATORS.

I would love to see Bama and the Gators run the table and meet undefeated for the BCS er... SEC Championship. I have been a Bama and Gator football fan since I was a kid. I would have to give Bama the edge right now, but who knows this could be Muschamps coming out party.
