October 28, 201213 yr Davis looked good last night but I'm surprised he didn't beef up a bit during the off season. In college he looked thin but he looks like a stick man in the NBA. His left handed stuff off the rebound was nice.

His left handed stuff off the rebound was nice. I think he looks a little bigger but at the same time he didn't have much time to focus on beefing up. He did play all summer with the Olympic team. He's still got baby fat going on too.

I'm with those who say they jumped the gun and should have traded him next summer but either way a 52 million extension and championship expectations lost to 60 million and no ring.

He can get 5 years in Houston instead of the 4 years OKC offered him. Everything I am seeing is in the $75M-$80M range. They gave him a lower than market value offer and he refused. Still had another year until FA. OKC did what they felt they needed to, but I wouldn't call it forcing their hand.
