I think NCC wins this game, and I'm basing this off the HC/Lloyd game. I think if it were not for the 6 HC fumbles that the juggs capitalized on, the Indians probably would have won the game by 2 tds so I will say that the breds will win this by 2 tds.

The only thing more important to a Catholic school than football is gambling. I love it.

 

You missed something that is necessary at both.

NewCath has the talent but that swagger you have seen the past 10 years or so is gone. I see no excitement of fire in their play. If they can get that fire in their eyes and pick it up I believe they should win this game as well as the rest of their regular season games.

NCC has been through some growing pains this year. I believe they have made progress and are ready to make a run in their district. They have beat themselves, rather than been beat, on more than one occasion this year. The Bred's are ready for the stretch run. NCC wins this game!

Lets not forget the turnovers and over 100 yards of penalties the Juggs had. So take that into consideration and the game was still even and the outcome remains the same.

I agree that the outcome is what it was on 9/21. Lloyd made some big plays against Holy Cross and a gutsy call for a two point conversion late in the game. Obviously, it was a close game. I did want to point out that Lloyd had two turnovers (2 fumbles, no INTs) and 5 penalties for 40 yards (not over 100).

 

I have not yet seen NCC play so I hesitate to make a prediction on this game. Lloyd can win if they can play well defensively. Follow the Holmes pattern and be aggressive (within the rules, of course). Keep it low scoring. Leave yourself a chance to win at the end. Personally, I hope NCC wins so that HC would have a chance at a 3-way tie by beating NCC later in the year. Have a good game.
