September 21, 201214 yr Honestly, it's not as far fetched as you might think. I knew a girl from NKY who was born when her mom was 14. Grandma and grandpa adopted her, and the family told her for her entire life that her biological mom was her sister, and that grandma and grandpa were her mom and dad. She was told the truth in her late teens. Her identity crisis that followed was so severe that it eventually led to her killing herself. Speechless.
September 21, 201214 yr That's a completely different scenario, and one that's quite common. However, for this woman's scenario to work, she would almost certainly have to have never known her father in any way, shape or form before they met and became an "item." ...true.
