Agree or Disagree?

After LCA beat Hazard (#2 in 1A) I thought they might move up.

But I can't say for sure who they would advance past, so it looks pretty good.

Couple of real good ones Friday in Somerset v. Glasgow and Danville v. Green County. I think we'll know a little better after the dust settles come Friday night.

Also was surprised how many points Desales gave up to PRP. Not like Desales, even against a 6A school.

Somerset will destroy Glasgow, and Green might surprise some people against Danville...may not win but will give them all they want!

Danville hasn't played with much intensity since they beat Boyle Co. But when they do they are really good, so the Green Co. outcome depends on which Danville team shows up. When Danville is focused and playing with emotion, they are probably the best team in 2A right now.

You can be assured Green want catch Danville by surprise. This year's senior Ads remember the last trip to Greensburg quite well. Green Co. gave DHS one of its worst defeats in school history 61-22. A lot has changed since then, but the humiliation of that defeat serves motivation not to overlook anyone.

I find it difficult to see why NCC is still in the Top 5. I don't see it. It would be different if there weren't other really good 2a teams out there who've actually won games or been competitive against good competition, but, there are. I fully realize NCC has a strong past tradition and have played good teams, but, in reality, they've mostly not even been that competitive and most people who have seen them have criticized them for being too slow, defensively challenged, bad tacklers and basically have come out and said that they're really down compared to past teams. I'm sure there's still some talent there and they may well pull it together, but, rather than just hand them this ranking, I'd rather see them at least show signs of life and put a couple of good games together 1st.

I also agree with above poster who stated LCA should be higher. I'd probably have them at #4 right now and Bardstown in the 6-7 range.

I don't think Somerset should be number 1 after last weeks offensive showing.

Maybe top 5 but not #1
