"What the hell were we thinking......"????

On a golf trip 10 yrs ago me and another guy were dared to swim through Caligny Square Duckcrap pond in Hilton Head. It was 4th of July weekend down there and we were partying our tails off. We slipped into the pond and swam across unknowing until we got out that were were electric cables we had to maneuver around to get to the other side. As I got out, some people eating started clapping and my buddy handed me a $100 bill. I immediately ran for the shower at our hotel and continued pounding beers.

Most of my near death experiences (that I know of) were result of me doing stupid things in an automobile.
Most of mine involved alcohol, young + stupid + drunk is a bad formula. No parentheses needed.

Same here.

Ditto.

I would like to say my idiocy was because it was alcohol induced, but I was always stone sober. Just stupid.

Mrs. S saw this thread and said, "Get me a pad and paper. I'll fix you right up." I don't need to pad my post count, so we'll just say I've had more than my share.

Hint: I'm not allowed to use power tools of any kind. Ever. :D

When I was a Pre-teen a group of us would ride our bikes out Ky-8 Mary Ingles Highway from Dayton Ky to California Ky and back . Stupid !!!!

This would be beyond stupid!!!!

Too many to name but looking back, I am so glad I had a guardian angel looking over me. Spent many, many nights walking home from west Newport to Ft. Thomas at 3am. One night a car followed us up Grand Avenue turning around every time we crossed to the other side to get away from him. Finally cut up through St. Luke and lost him. Climbed the Big Mac bridge with some friends from CovCath (nice influence, guys!) and sat on the very edge of the bridge watching the barges go by underneath us. (look ma, no hands!). Never knew till then that there was a walkway underneath! Kind of cool but kind of scary too!
