Northern Kentucky Coaches Poll Week 3

IMO boone is where they should be in the rankings. Also Walton and Lloyd should be ahead of Beechwood and NCC at the moment, as well as perhaps even Scott.

Better records DOES NOT equate to better teams. What are you growing in the garden?

I think Walton or Lloyd would beat NCC and Beechwood if they were to play them right now.

Are you crazy? Walyton and lloyd have won games but they are underclassman pkaying an underclassman schedule. Niw way they find the rankings.

Not a chance.

Not a chance.

I think so.

Not a chance.

Have you seen either team play yet? At the beginning of the season I would have said you were spot on. I watched Holy Cross vs Dayton and now I am not so sure. Now by the end of the season you maybe right but the Holy Cross team I saw against Dayton would struggle against Walton and Lloyd.

Boone is about to be 0-4 till they win a game they shouldn't be ranked.

So you only want 9 teams to be ranked?

I think Ryle has the hardest schedule this year, that being said, I would take an 0-4 Boone County squad that has played serious competition over a 4-0 team that beaten a bunch of cupcakes.

Cupcakes? Danville would beat Boone and Ryle.

Maybe, we probably will never know as Boone County and Ryle generally do not play 1A and 2A schools.

Boone will still be a better team than most after they lose to CCH and Male in the next two weeks, and Ryle is a better program for playing and losing to DeSales and Colrain.

The Holy Cross team you saw that night, crushed Dayton by 60 plus points. Lloyd played the same Dayton team a week later and won by two scores. HC isn't struggling against Lloyd right now, or anytime this season. As for Walton, we'll see a bit more this weekend.

69-20 HC beats Dayton, by my public school math is not 60 plus points. I agree that it is a very solid win but Dayton had their moments. I am sure HC will be much better as the season goes on but the question was right now. I saw the game and what I saw in that game was not on the level of what I saw from them last year.

More than fair enough. I saw the HC big number, and assumed it was a call the score game. A lot of points in this game. Who scored late?

HC isn't near the level they were last year. My guess is it will still be enough to finish second in their district.
