Dunkers

I noticed a couple of you talked about cheap beer at $2 per.

What is the going rate for a beer in a bar these days? I have no idea and I'm curious.

Kind of depends where you go. Downtown Cincy or the Newport Levee, you're going to pay more. I think the local watering holes would be in line with 2 dollar brews, even cheaper for happy hours. I hadn't been to Bdubs in a while and only got draft. Seems like it was on the expensive side.

Depends on where you go, but if there isn't a special then you're lucky to get anything under $3.50

:scared::scared: Lot different than the old Saddle Club and Herb and Thelma's days.

Longnecks/Shortnecks normal price for a bucket is 10 bucks. Happy hour and Reds home run specials are 8.50

They will have a hard time taking Longnecks business. Their food is far superior to Dunkers (as of now). I had the farmer burger last night. It was amazing like always.

Agreed. I usually go with the Wilder Burger. Have you tried the onion rings? They are awesome. I will eventually give Dunkers a shot.

On Labor Day I headed to Rainero's with Steak Hogie on my mind. Unfortunately they were closed for the holiday, so I took the opportunity to give Dunkers a try.

Greasy!!! Greasy burger, and since they advertised a half-order of Onion Rings for $4.49 I thought they must be pretty good. Embarrassing!!!! Greasy, over-cooked, and burned around the rims - big old tough things. No Eye Appeal.

If I give them a second chance it will be for wings, and only if I'm desperate. Big thumbs down.
