October 3, 201213 yr I don't think the episode was that eventful tonight but just the last 15 minutes or so made it great for me. Sad episode, but very touching. Especially to who has watched SOA since season 1. Sad day indeed.

Like you said...uneventful for the most part(save for Gemma the puppetmaster) but very touching at the end knowing the history of Jax and Opie. Completely missed the symbolism of the two kids on bikes at the beginning of the episode.
October 3, 201213 yr The scene where Jax laid down his bike was alomost identical to how I did mine today, minus the gang bangers and prostitute on the back. I felt his pain. All in all a good episode, was definitely a sad one.
October 3, 201213 yr I thought it was pretty weak. Not much emotion out of anyone until the end. I don't really think they did a good job of portraying the impact Opie's death will have on the club. Plus, there was basically zero Pope during the show. Since be is setting up to be the big bad guy I'd assume there'd be an appearance...

I probably come off a little bit negative, but I expect a lot out of what I watch, especially shows that COULD be great.

I don't want to see a bunch of sobbing bikers. I was satisfied with the emotion. Plus it was just the wake. They still have to bury him.
