August 18, 201214 yr Maybe that Frazier guy can hit. We tried to tell people early on that he needed to get more playing time but some on here said he wasn't an everyday player and that he couldn't produce for a full season.

He wouldn't be a better fielder than the other 3 you mentioned. He's by far their best option at 3rd and anyone saying otherwise is wrong.

August 18, 201214 yr For the record, since the All Star Break Rolen--.364 Avg, 3 HR 12 RBI .451 OBP Frazier.. .299 Avg, 7 HR, 22 RBI, .341 OBP I love Frazier, I think he needs to play everyday, I just don't think it's so cut and dry that Rolen is the one that needs to sit when Votto returns. Frazier can play other positions.

I can sit here and type that Alex Trevino was as good defensively as Johnny Bench, but making that statement would still make me an idiot in the eyes of other people no matter how vehemently I may argue the point.
August 18, 201214 yr Not to get in the name calling game, but I'll say that I believe Rolen is a much better defensive player than Frazier at 3B. I want Frazier to play everyday as well, but I'm not making the argument for his defense over Rolen's no way.
