Biggest Bust/Worst 1st round fantasy pick you've ever make...

Featured Replies

I haven't had too many fist round busts in my money leagues. I tend to stay away from the holdouts, etc. like some of you all are pointing out. However if I had to pick a "bad" pick that was fairly high it was when Chad Johnson was in his last few years in Cincy. He basically dropped a big egg all year outside of two weeks. Did I even start him those two weeks? Nope.

Two team keeper league. My first pick was JJ Arrington. Tell me how that panned out.

The good old days of FF, watching TNT Sunday night and trying to guage your score when they showed highlights. Then opening the Monday paper and your legal pad while calculating scores. I started in 1989 and our first league using the web was 2001. CBS now $160 was free back then, I guess they are doing OK these days.

What the heck is a legal pad? :lol2:

He wasn't my first round pick but I'd say Kevin Smith (Lions) was pretty disappointing last season.

Steve Slaton about 3 years ago at #6 overall. Absolute bust.

We have a winner. :lol2:

I drafted #12 in a 12 team league I think it was 3 seasons ago. My first 2 picks were Willis McGhee and Darren Macfaden, back to back at #12 and #13. Both got hurt and even with combined stats didn't put together even a mediocre season for one running back. I worked the waiver wire like a mad man to say the least that season and still won a few games, how I'm not sure but I did.
