August 3, 201214 yr And my tax dollars and your tax dollars. That was the point of what the President said. Next.Just like a top....
August 4, 201214 yr ^Can't hardly stand it can you? No, sometimes the urge to correct inaccurate information overcomes me.
August 4, 201214 yr ^Can't hardly stand it can you? What he fails to realize is with out business's like Mr. Gaster's lumber there would be no government to build the roads, pay the police, fireman, ect...Government didn't build business, business and people built government.
August 4, 201214 yr What he fails to realize is with out business's like Mr. Gaster's lumber there would be no government to build the roads, pay the police, fireman, ect...Government didn't build business, business and people built government. What you and many others fail to realize is that our government has a very real and tangible purpose. Without our government providing for safe and regulated commerce, providing free education, civil services, etc, etc, etc. Mr. Castor wouldn't have a business, probably wouldn't own or be able to lease the property, have an educated work force. Mr. Castor I'm sure worked hard and built his business but he did not do it free from aid, services and resources from all of us collectively in the form of government.
August 4, 201214 yr Author FYI, the govt did NOT build this man's business. What part of that needs corrected? And Obama can kiss his ass. Correct?
August 4, 201214 yr Love It! Just a few thoughts... 1. I thought 'Tax Payer' was one word. 2. I think the person who did this meant 'funded' not 'founded.' 3. Government doesn't create the trademark. Individuals do that. 'GOV' just collects the fee and ensure no one else does. 4. Internet Access: This person is ill-informed. If I were you, for your benefit, I wouldn't repeat that. 5. Spelling and Grammar: Look at thoughts 1 and 2. 6.The marauding thieving part: Any legitimate studies correlating the number of officers in an area and the crime rate being lower? 7. Tax money does not go to The USPS. They are funded through their stamp sales. They also recently defaulted on a 5.5 billion dollar retiree fund.
August 4, 201214 yr FYI, the govt did NOT build this man's business. What part of that needs corrected? And Obama can kiss his ass. Correct? Taking everything that is provided by our government that you are refusing to acknowledge out of the equation, how do you know what the government did or did not do for this man's business? What if he received a government grant to start his business? Does that change your mind? How about a low interest government guaranteed SBA loan that got his business started when it otherwise could not have. Would that be government helping build his business?

What if he received a government grant to start his business? Does that change your mind? How about a low interest government guaranteed SBA loan that got his business started when it otherwise could not have. Would that be government helping build his business? Maybe he did get those things, but probably not. Without those things - he probably would have still done it. The begging for higher federal taxes would not pay for anything. As noted above. Stamps pay for USPS - it is off budget. Roads are paid for by gasoline tax. It is still 'on-budget' since it used to run a surplus and was used to pay for other federal programs. That is not likely the case now with the dramatic drop in gasoline consumption. The internet is paid for by ... us! See your DSL or cable bill. Oh - and it gets a hefty tax! Small Business Loan? Nice of the government. But if they did not do it small-cap venture capital would likely fill the void. Most useful things done by government are paid for with non-income tax taxes. The begging and pleading for higher personal income tax that Obama did and his followers are now doing is silly. It is NOT what pays for most things in the picture. They need to cover the AHCA fiasco. And the lack of income from a slow and slowing economy.
August 4, 201214 yr Governments started to build roads, because they realized that muddy trails and toll roads were not a way to build a strong, unified nation. The roads, canals and tracks were built by taxpayers money and private companies. Once that was done the successful businesses were created by their owners, not by government. What Obama stepped in and how it is perceived by his detractors is not based on what he said that one day, but what he has said in many speeches.

Once again you couldn't be more wrong. Federal government has a purpose. It's just about 10% of what it has gone to. Take everything your cute little picture points out and there is still business.
