Not to disagree with you.... but I dont understand how Bell can beat PCC and Harlan convincingly while Clay can lose to PCC and barely squeak out a win against Harlan, yet Clay deserves to be there and Bell doesnt. Not to mention that PCC is ahead of Bell. I also dont see how you can say Leslie deserves to be in there while North Laurel doesnt.

Leslie is very good hard to believe there are ten better teams in the mountains than they are. In all fairness I have not seen all the other teams in the top ten play yet either.

I don't think this poll really means alot I think they just throw these teams in there not really knowing much about it. Im not trying to take anything away from the teams that are on it im just saying that I think it isn't very accurate.

Well it is kinda like any other one that is out there. You are there until you are knocked off. I still like it though. Makes for some interesting conversations. There are a lot of teams in the mountains that probably deserve to be there. But a big win here and there will put them there.

I'm just going by what I saw at the CFIT with the Bell. I believe they have suffered some injuries or something because they looked young and IMO not that good. I know when they beat Perry, the Commodores had some players that was sick and didn't play...at least that's what I was told.

Bell has some good players, but they looked real young to me.

 

Perry may have had some kids out..... but Bell Co is playing without its leading scorer in Whitaker (the older one), and will be for quite a while after he suffered an ankle injury.

 

If Bell had Whitaker (and Brent Slusher who quit due to football and is currently in Texas at the US Army All American Bowl Combine for juniors, an unreal athlete and a force in the middle) they would be pretty solid and possibly a top 3 team. Still though I think there showing against PCC without Whitaker is impressive.

Lee County didn't have much trouble with Bell in the Johnson Central tournament. I think you're right about the Perry-Bell game.....Perry had some kids out.

Bell's loss to Lee County was early in the year and there was a lot of negativity surrounding the program at that time that all served as distractions. I think at this point in the season if Bell and Lee Co. met it would be a much different ball game.

I never meant to say that Leslie didnt deserve to be in the top 10 somewhere..... I just think if you put them in there then you have got to throw North Laurel in the mix as well! They may not be performing as well as some teams but their schedule is horrendous and they are probably the only team in the mountain region that can play SL to within 15 points, not to mention they beat Leslie!

When he gets back they may be a top 10 team, but not now. They only beat M'boro by one at Bell and they shot 22 FT's in the 4th quarter to do it.
