Blazers will sign guard Raymond Felton to a three-year, $10 million deal and then trade him to Knicks in sign and trade, source tells Y!

I guess they aren't going to match the Rockets offer to to Lin.

Daryl Morey finally does something that works, I guess that poison pill done the Knicks in after all.

Rockets restructured the offer sheet for Lin and turned it into a three year deal back loaded instead of a 4 year and in the 3rd year he is set to make 14 mil, wow. I mean I know we all experienced Linsanity last year but to me it is Linsane to give that guy that kind of pay. I'm not even so sure you could tell how much of that was Lin and how much of it was a product of D'Antoni's system? Let's not forget how good Nash/Dragic looked in the same system and numbers they put up. Although both are obviously good players, it took Dragic an injury to really get to clock minutes in Houston last season, and if anyone watched him in the playoffs for the Suns a few years ago you would have thought he was going to be an All-Star player. So in otherwords this could work out great or they will be seriously overpaying for an average NBA point guard in a league where 1's are taking over.

Scoal to the Suns.

I find it interesting that the Rockets salary cap for Lin will be the average of his contract (8 million/season) but if the Knicks resign him they count the individual season amounts towards the cap. With the Knicks over the salary cap they'd have to pay him 1.7 times the 14 for the third season for tax purposes.

Just saw something on OJ Mayo maybe to the Lakers?

It's been out there for a few days. That would be a very nice addition.

Real numbers now in...Jeremy Lin's contract could cost Knicks 43.7 mill..in last yr. potentially.

Lin has tons of marketing value but it's not worth that. ZERO chance the Knicks match the offer sheet.

I'm guessing he would be leaving a good amount of money on the table by picking the Lakers but you never know.

He would have to. Probably no longer than a year or two, though.

The thought of playing with Steve Nash as the PG has to be appealing to some FAs.

Antwan Jamison is deciding between the Lakers, Bobcats, and the Nets.

I always think Jamison is a bad player, but his numbers are always decent.

He's a guy you will watch play and think man he sucks and then look at the box score and he's got 15 points on 11 shots and you have no idea how.

He would leave a lot of money on the table but its possible. PHX also very much in the mix for some OJ.
