Who is going?

I heard there was something going on with live bands and activities in parking lot 4 starting at noon. Does anyone have information on this? I can not find it anywhere.

Thanks for any help.

Jim was just messing with you. He and I have backstage passes to it. :D

Garth Brooks would really round out this ticket nicely. Can't wait for the hat and buckle pics I'm going to get!

I will be there, bought tickets back in December and really looking forward to it. I had a buddy who went to their Nashville show over the weekend and he said they definitely lived up to expectations.

As for as your question regarding the bands playing at noon, I have no idea.

I heard yesterday on B105, they will be on the East Plaza starting at noon.

There is another storm behind this one . It is currently on the Indiana- Illinois border or so. I hope it pushes off to the north or south.. Hooters in Newport is running the ferry across for $5 like they do for the ball games.

Okay, concert goers how was it?

How big was the crowd?

Did the weather impact the show?

And of course, how were the shows themselves?

Good concert, long! Weather delayed the show abt a half hour & everyone was wet, but really didn't matter much. I guarantee the vendors & concession benefitted frm the rain delay. Big crowd! If not sold out then close.

iMO- Jake Owen was good. Grace Potter was painful. Her first song nearly put me to sleep. Tim McGraw was better than I expected. I'm really not a McGraw fan, but he did very well! Chesney also exceeded expectations. Chesney was joined by Brett Michaels as they sang "Every Rose Has a Thorn"....excellent! Cincy/NKY brought a live/large crowd. I think big success for all involved!

Heard it was not sold out so many sponsors ended up with free tickets to give away. My sis in law got a call Friday from children's that they were giving away 1,000 tickets to employees. She was lucky enough to get picked. Her hubby was not thrilled about going and I'll have to see what he had to say about getting rained on.

Shocked to realize, this was the first concert ever at Paul Brown stadium? I know Billy Grahm was there, but is this true?

Great Concert even with the weather issue.

Anyone sit near section G on the floor?

Not me....I was extremely happy in my $42 seats way up under the canopy. The beer vendor took shelter in my area....life was good.

Wow what a concert. The first time I have seen both Tim & Kenny in person and I was very impressed to say the least. We were some of the fortunate ones to stay dry during the monsoon that took place. The Corona's were flowing nicely in the Suite that my wife and I were invited to sit in with some close friends. My wife wasn't really getting into it until a surprise visit by Brett Michaels. Then she came alive!!! I must say that the music was very loud and I thought overall a very good venue to watch a concert. Hope to see it happen again.
