Maybe I am in the minority, but I am not seeing Robinson as that great of an NBA player. I think he was more suited for college. Maybe a Kenyon Martin type. Not bad, just not what you consider to be in a top 3 pick. Ironically Martin was the #1 pick in his draft. Terrible draft class though.

 

Yeah, Dickie V made a few comments about how other than Davis, Robinson was the most NBA-ready. He didn't say he'd be an all-star or anything but he did comment on how he would be a solid 10-year player. He also said the same thing about Sullinger though, so take that for what its worth haha!

Sounds like "trade it" might be their answer. Chad Ford said it's better than 50/50 they will trade the pick.

Chad Forde was on Mike & Mike this morning, he believes there is a 50% chance that the Bobcats trade the No. 2 pick. He went on to say that if they don't, he thinks they will take Robinson. He followed that up with saying MKG is probably the second best player in the draft.

As bad as Jordan's draft picks have been, take a look at some of the trades he has executed. Just as bad or worse.

As good as a player Jordan was he is the complete opposite in management.

The Bobcats have given up a conditional 2013 First Round pick and Cory Maggette for Ben Gordon. On the bright side Gordon was the 6th man of the year 7 seasons ago.

Sources told ESPN.com the first-round pick going to Charlotte is lottery-protected in 2013, top-eight protected in 2014, top-one protected in 2015 and unprotected in 2016.

The deal provides significant long-term savings for the Pistons. Maggette is in the last year of his contract that pays him $10.9 million during the 2012-13 season.

Gordon has two years, $25.6 million left on his contract, giving the Pistons a long-term savings of $14 million.

Gordon averaged 12.5 points last season, including a 45-point outing at Denver in which he tied his own NBA record by making nine 3-pointers without a miss. The NBA's Sixth Man of the Year in 2005 with Chicago spent three disappointing seasons in Detroit, averaging 12.4 points.

Maggette was limited to 32 games last season because of injuries, averaging 15 points. The 13-year veteran, in the final year of his contract, has averaged 16.2 points in his career.

For the Bobcats, they get a much needed shooter in their backcourt. In a recent interview after a pre-draft workout, new coach Mike Dunlap told reporters that was the team's biggest need.
