Just showing what was printed by the media, I don't know who is guilty of what and I am not trying to show any side. I do however feel it could have been avoided by both parties.

I thought the time line was interesting to see.

 

Another thing, the media has already shown their true colors in trying to make it a racial killing by making a cut up of the 9-11 call and the injuries to Zimmermann, plus only showing Trayvon as a little innocent boy picture.

Everybody and their brother wants to get their concealed carry permit these days. That's all well and good and I'm most certainly pro gun rights and all for protecting yourself and your family. Just remember that at the moment you decide to pull that trigger, you better dang sure be able to articulate a justifiable reason why you felt in fear of your life . . . . .

I just enjoyed the way the timeline went, it told me things the media on TV didn't. The TV media portrayed Trayvon as a 12 yr old who was an innocent angel who was shot by a white Hispanic (whatever that is)

I'll be happy to clear up the white Hispanic confusion. My mother was white, of Scottish, German and English heritage. My father is Hispanic. Therefore, I am a white Hispanic. Btw, this is always fun For me on applications where it says "choose one" and I have to decide which heritage I am denying that day.

I'm not trying to be a smart alec, but what is Obama considered. His mom is white, dad is black, is he a black president, white president, white/black president, or black/white president. I always figured you are what you looked like in most cases. To me Zimmerman is Hispanic, he don't look white. Again I think it is dumb to liable people both races like they have or do.

That's because the guy who wrote this wrote it in a blog. If Fox News came out and said Trayvon was buying ingredients to make "lean" before he got shot then there would be a lot of problems. A lot. There are boundaries big media can't cross and bloggers can cross. What this guy did was a typical opinionated blog. This isn't credible journalism he put out.

You think that's dumb? Great for you. As for me, I don't want to deny either side of my heritage. I have individuals to be proud of on both sides. I may look "white" but I certainly will not deny the greatest man that I have never known, my father, a Vietnam veteran nor his 8 uncles who all fought in WWII. I also won't deny my mother's side of my family, including an uncle who taught me so much as a kid, a man who was in the Navy during the Korean War. He died in 2003 and I miss him evey day. I am as proud to be his niece as I am to be my father's daughter.
