Once again, in nations like Tunisia, you don't have freedom of religion. You do in America. Seriously, why is that so hard?

 

That doesn't make it right, but stop trying to paint Muslim-Americans in a negative light by linking a story about something that is going on in a country halfway across the world with different governments and ideals.

Not all Muslim Americans are like that, some are very nice and better citizens than most.

True. But with the way your posts are perceived then I should be just as appalled at all Christians even though these crazy preachers with snakes and homophobic hate filled remarks represent a small portion of Christians.

That's not the point. The point is that a few crazies shouldn't define the whole religion. There are millions of Muslims in this world. Maybe billions. I'm not going to look down on them or their religion because of the nutjobs that are given publicity. I treat Christians and Catholics the same. I don't hate Catholics or priests because some priests molested altar boys(former altar boy) and some Catholic churches tried to cover it up.

On a side note, just watched the beheading video, I certainly hope that guy went into shock pretty quickly and didn't have to endure that in a conscious state for very long. I can't imagine that.

:lol: I cannot tell you how many people I have known over the years who absolutely do not understand that Catholics are Christians. When I worked at SBUX one of my coworkers called me "one of THEM" on Ash Wednesday. :lol: She was "shocked" to find out that I wasn't Christian. :lol:

Trust me. Most of this state thinks Catholics are anything but Christians. Perhaps there's a correlation, but perhaps not, but some 90 percent of this state is Southern Baptist, the same folks who said I wasn't a Christian when I was growing up.
