June 7, 201214 yr Time to take the series today! I had the game DVR'd to watch from last night and I wake up to no game, someone has deleted it :madman:
June 7, 201214 yr Billy Hamilton has stolen more bases than any major league team. He had 4 last night in addition to 2 more walks...The crazy thing about Billy is he's actually a terrible base-runner, he gets terrible jumps and is doing this based off pure athleticism...He has been caught 13 times and has stolen 67 successfully, wait till he polishes his running game and learns how to actually get successful leads and jumps...So Raw and Toolsy, switch hitter and only 21 years old, I'll be in Ft. Walton beach in mid august and hope that he gets promoted to Pensacola by then so I can go watch him... One thing that makes me very happy, 33 Walks to 44 Strikeouts...Last year he finished with 52 Walks and 133 Strikeouts...He is showing signs of improvement...Now they just need to move him to CF

June 7, 201214 yr Sidenote: Jay Bruce is a guest on Van Pelt's show today. A lot of athletes aren't very good. He is really good.
June 7, 201214 yr Was Votto even close to scoring in the 1st inning? It was bang bang, but it was the right call. It took a perfect throw to get him out.
June 7, 201214 yr Author It was bang bang, but it was the right call. It took a perfect throw to get him out. Thanks. Was on my way home, didn't get to see it.
June 7, 201214 yr Thanks. Was on my way home, didn't get to see it. Replay showed he was probably safe but you can see how in real time it looked like he was out.
June 8, 201214 yr Author Replay showed he was probably safe but you can see how in real time it looked like he was out. Did Votto protest any?
June 8, 201214 yr Replay showed he was probably safe but you can see how in real time it looked like he was out. I personally thought the replay showed he was clearly out. The catchers glove got between Votto's heal and the plate before his toe came down and touched.
