Beechwood vs. Dixie

Featured Replies

I'm not saying that Beechwood is going to be a push over by any mean. i just dont hear any big names for them next year. All of Dixie game will be hard this year and i hope the Dixie boys can end there lossing slide to Boone.

CCH Alter and NCC are all big games for Beechwood besides Dixie. I don't know the other teams but this is a good schedule for Beechwood.

Historically Beechwood has given CCH a very hard time, so I would expect that playing Dixie will be little different. It will be a great game and I'm glad to have it on the schedule no matter what the outcome.

Actually--historically, Beechwood has owned Cov Cath. But I am not real sure that that has to do with Dixie (not trying to be a punk--I just see these 2 teams as 2 different animals).

I really think it works for both teams. But there are some negatives for each school as well.

I know what your saying, but both schools are, and always have technically fed off of Dixie's district. Not that it matters now. The population is such that we have more "quality" ball players now. ie... there's enough good players to go around and not make any one program suffer for it.

Actually--historically it is a lot closer than you may think.

CCH and Beechwood have played @ 24 times in the last 26 years and it's prolly @ 14-10 Beechwood.

Beechwood and Dixie also played back in the day for a couple years. I think @1979,80 and 81.

This is off the top of my head so these numbers are approximate. ;)

Sorry Z5--you are CORRECT. I should have been more specific in regard to the "recent" past. My fault.
