Not sure how much longer he can let Cozart lead off. Hitting .165 with .214 OBP. Just horrible.

What's the answer at leadoff? I'd like to see either BP or Frazier (preferably BP). Move Bruce to 4th behind Votto, and move Frazier to 5th behind Bruce.

I'm fine with leaving Cozart in the 2-hole. Honestly, I'm okay with ANYONE hitting second. Ludwick, Hanigan, Frazier, Stubbs, Cozart, Bruce...it doesn't really matter to me.

Realistically Hanigan might be the best option but Dusty won't bat him 2nd.

I'd move Bruce to the 4 hole.

I know it's a bit unorthodox but I think Hanigan should hit lead off.

You could call it that.

I don't agree, but even if it were a good idea Dusty wouldn't do it because to him it would mean he would have to bat Mesoraco there when he started.

Curious, what don't you like about the idea? Outside of the whole Meso would have to bat there bit.

MLB attendance up 6.7 percent over same point in 2011 season...@Reds attendance up 14.8% over first 17 games (2011 vs 2012)

You could call it that.

Why do you think it's a stupid idea?

He would do that.

I just don't like the idea of having somebody that slow at the top of the lineup.

Wouldn't you rather have someone that can get on base that isn't the quickest, than someone that struggles to get on but has speed?

All things being even you obviously take the speed guy. However, as they say "you can't steal first."

I don't think batting Leake atop the order is a bad idea tonight. He can't be worse than what they've had.
