I would like to see Lee County come away with a victory. This would be great for their confidence during the rest of the season. It would also stir things up enough that the 14th region would be up for grabs...no longer dominated by PCC. In this game I say go Bobcats

I see a close game.....could go either way according to which team shows up ready to play. Lee is certainly capable of winning this game.

Who are the referees???

It is sad that the referee question always arises when it involves a big game in Perry County.

I feel that the better team will win this game and I think it will be Lee. They beat Bell handily and bell came and beat PCC. This does not mean much a lot of times but I think Lee can win this one.

Did I make an excuse? I just said that its sad things like that happen.

I agree too. It's no big secret. I'm hoping Lee will pull this one out but giving the odds, I'll say PCC by 4

How about providing some examples Mr. Bobcat fan instead of just making blanket statements. The facts are that Perry Central has been the best team for the past few years in the 14th. I can't even remember the last time that Lee Co. even played at Perry Central so I would love an example.

There are plenty of examples of it being hard to get a win in Hazard, especially against PCC. I take one example from last years games between Knott Central and PCC. KCC wins 2 games by 20+ points on a neutral court and at KCC, but PCC wins at PCC, it is just a fact that they have a home court advantage, but that is not a bad thing IMO, especially if you are a PCC fan.

As you know, you can not be to specific on this matter without losing priveledges. I agree with the forum rules and will not give specific instances. Ask anyone outside of Hazard about this matter and you will get a overwhelming response to the home court advantadge of Hazard and PCC. Of course those in the Hazard area do not see things this way. Whether there is any truth to any allegation there is a feeling about playing in Hazard. You should feel good about this percieved advantadge and not be defensive. No matter what the truth is the games must be played on the court. Whoever the visiting team is they must put their best five on the floor and play thier best basketball and I believe they will be ok. Lets also add that PCC and Hazard always field very good basketball teams and are always well coached.

I lose track of time I guess, maybe it was the year before, it was the year KCC 's girls won the 14th. They beat PCC by 20+ at KCC and 20+ in the regional tourny. The games were not even close in those games but PCC somehow won at PCC, they really do seem to have a home court advantage that affects the other team and on occasion, the officials IMO. I am talking about the girls games not the boys games in the instances I speak.
