Did anyone notice the lack of advertisement build up for the version as compared to the last two? I remember last year, you couldn't switch channels on TV without seeing the commercials.

With all of the political ads they probably couldn't get an ad is edgewise and if they could it was probably very expensive.

I know I've bought two for each of the last 3 releases. 3 of Modern Warfare 2, 2 PS3 and 1 for 360.

Which is part of the problem with the series lately IMO. Not as much of an impetus to innovate the series. Thankfully, it appears that Treyarch at least decided to shoot for some innovation this time around. Looks like the most whole scale innovation since the first Modern Warfare. I passed because of general COD fatigue, but I'm glad that they changed it up some.

I'm enjoying this one more than the MW3

I'm really enjoying this game. I love the pick 10 and the maps. Much much better than MW3.

It would have been difficult not to. I gave up on MW3 within 1-2 months. Is it better than Black Ops?

Haven't played it enough to make that decision but so far I really like it.

 

I've only played campaign and very little of zombies tho.

What is the pick 10? I've only played for about 4 hours and that was before the UK game tuesday and I'd had a few drinks to numb up before the game to better cope(failed in that regard). So far the game seems cool just a lot different feeling to it at first.

It gives you the ability to do a lot more customization on your classes. For instance if you don't like carrying a secondary weapon and would rather have a 4th perk you have that ability now.

That's not actually accurate. In order to carry a 4th perk you have to unlock that option through the wild card menu. Can't just pick it if you want it.
