April 22, 201214 yr Randy Wells takes the hump for the Cubbies today (instead of Dumpster, who went to the DL). Wells vs. Cincinnati: 9 starts (4-1), 3.88 ERA, 1.28 WHIP, .257 BAA
April 22, 201214 yr A win today would be big. Maybe it's just me, but I'm starting to sense some momentum. Take 2 out of 3 from the Cubs, then come home for 9 against the Giants, Lastros & Cubs. Sounds like a good opportunity to turn things around!
April 22, 201214 yr FYI: Reds are going to honor Kentucky on Tues before the game vs. Giants. I hope to attend. And I've got tickets for Friday's game vs. Houston.
April 22, 201214 yr Need this one, don't want to drop a series to the Cubs especially on the heels of the previous 2 series.
April 22, 201214 yr Need this one, don't want to drop a series to the Cubs especially on the heels of the previous 2 series. Agreed. If the Reds win today, this supposed "debacle" of a road trip that has people jumping off the bus becomes a 4-6 trip.

April 22, 201214 yr Yesterday the Cowboy was raving about Drew Stubbs' approach since moving to the 2-hole... What did he say? Dusty commented in the paper today that they want Stubbs to be more aggressive. He said some people can work a count but Stubbs is better off busting the first good pitch he sees and the reason he strikes out so much is not being aggressive then getting into that 2 strike count. Is that what Cowboy was saying also?
April 22, 201214 yr :lol::lol::lol::lol: Soriano is hopeless. I can't believe Sveum plays him in LF and not RF.
April 22, 201214 yr :lol::lol::lol::lol: Soriano is hopeless. So are the Reds being clutch hitters. Pitiful
April 22, 201214 yr Votto is an animal. Doubles to opposite field. Stubbs was running on the pitch & scores easily.
April 22, 201214 yr Rolen fights one off to bloop a hit to right to score Votto. 2-0 heading to the bottom of the 3rd.
