Reds bat around in the 1st with 4 runs, 4 hits, 2 BBs, and 2 LOB....Good start for the Redlegs.

Starting the games in a huge hole is soul crushing. Trust me it happened nearly every time Volquez took the mound.

Errors all around in this one in the early going.

You simply can't give good hitters 4 strikes.

I missed it, what happened?

I thought Castro should have been rung up on strikes on the 1-2 pitch. It's called a ball, and two pitches later he lines a hit to center.

:ohbrother:

7 pitches. You've got a guy on the ropes with over 40+ pitches in the 1st and you go up there and hack at everything.

DeJesus 9

Barney 4

Castro 6

LaHair 3

Soriano 7

Stewart 5

Soto 2

Byrd 8

Volstad 1

Yuck

Harris down to .048 with the strikeout. Why is this guy in the lineup? Frazier could have played 2nd and he did at least hit the ball hard yesterday.
