Peyton Manning agrees to new contract with Denver.

He said a few weeks ago he would play without gurantee money but doubt very seriously that happens.

There was an article that the first year would have no guaranteed money but after that it would kick in.

4th & 2 and they need to score, run it in Peyton...Hope Tim goes somewhere else. For posters wanting to see him fail as a human and Christian this is a time for a trial. I don not want to see Peyton or the Broncos fail, but I choose to see them lose as many games as possible. 36 years old compare to 24. Lets see how it unfolds.

^One of the best QBs to ever play the game compared to a guy with shotty mechanics and poor accuracy....The choice was a no-brainer if you're the Broncos. One gives you the chance to be a legit Super Bowl contender, the other gives you a shot at MAYBE sneaking into the playoffs.

Find me 1 poster who wants that? Just 1. For all accounts Tebow seems like a good guy. Only beef I see is that people don't think he's that good a QB and he gets a little annoying with the religious stuff 24/7. I don't think anyone wants to see him fail as human and end up homeless on the street with nothing.

So you feel the same way as those that choose to see Tebow lose.

Snuck in last year with under 10 starts. Peyton had more picks than TDs in his first 8 starts. 36-24, ok.

It's okay that Larry does it, duh HT.

Yep, and he did it running a gimmick offense. With a year of tape, that offense wasn't going to get it done anymore. If he improves as a passer, he'll be successful, but there's no guarantee with that.

I'm a huge Tebow fan, but any intelligent football fan knows this was a no-brainer move, most likely even Tebow himself.

You need to research some posts about Tim on the Religion board. Thats a true statement, I can show you but dead issue to me. Most want to see Tim fail because of who he is and what he stands for. I want Denver to lose because I like other teams better.

On the one poster I know at least 4/5, and if you want at least one, I'll PM you and give the one. I try not to post facts on here just to post them, and I have the proof.

Oh Ok, thats fine.

Larry, not really sure why you're so upset about this. Yes, I know that there are those who are just waiting for Tim to slip up just one little bit, but this was purely a business decision by the Broncos. It had nothing to do with Tim's faith. I'm sure that Tim will be the 1st to say that God has plans for him, and will work thru Tim wherever that new city may be.

^^Not really upset with this, just the way I discuss things and reading all the posts of folks bashing him in the past. On the choice of the Broncos Tim was positive, works for him works for me.

And I stated earlier God has a plan for Tim and he does for all of us.

I get upset when Mama cooks Pork Chops and I wanted Burgers.

HT said show him one postrer, 1, and I can do that, just responding to a post that was incorrect and can help by showing him.

If anything this is a good thing for Tebow. Elway didn't want him and neither did Fox. They can trade him to a team that wants him and will try to build around him.

Someone will take a chance on him, Larry. I can guarantee you that. As for the Broncos, you've got to be kidding me if you blame them for the decision. Peyton Manning can outplay Tim Tebow tenfold. That is a fact. John Elway always wanted a pocket passer. He got one.
