Still the king, that is laughable. They lost to two Lexington schools this year, and in 2015 and 16 lost to Lafayette in the playoffs. So they are not kings, they just happen to get past Lexington in the playoffs the last two years.
I like when mediocre Team A says, "We need a week 4 game for 2019. Can be home or away." Then powerhouse Team B replies, "We need a week 4 game for 2019." It's obvious they are replying to Team A, but they're throwing it out there like they're not.
Lafayette was up 28-27 in the 3rd Qtr. Those numbers are what counts. Scott struggled to put Lafayette away but the point is they did put them away and that is what counts.
I remember when Breathitt used to be a dominate team offensively and defensively. Is there any program that was state championship caliber like the Bobcats fall off so far and unraveled as quickly as Breathitt in recent memory?
Coach Smith has to disappointed with the way his squad has lost their first two games. I expect them to rebound. Douglass is loaded and if they stay injury free should be able to make a run at Scott County.
