Pretty sure NBC is doing all of the production for Amazon. -
St. Peter's 85 Kentucky 79 OT (NCAA First Round)

I think he was a way better coach back in the UMass days. His Memphis teams had a bunch of talent and he still had more NBA players on his teams in 11 and 14 than most of his opponents, even the ones that were ranked ahead of them. He "Loves BEING the Coach" but I don't think he "Loves TO Coach". -

Has anyone ever said "Coach Cal's team has really overachieved"? Give Izzo the same talent Cal has had the last 10 plus years and I bet UK has 5 championships. -
Overtime Rule Should Be...

1st and Goal from the 25. No first down unless by penalty. Coin flip after each OT period. Definitely a disadvantage for a defense to be out there 2 possessions in a row so leave that to luck of the call on the coin toss. -
Chiefs 42 Bills 36 OT (AFC Divisional Round)

Honest question here: Why don't they make it hard for receivers to get off the line anymore? You never see a DB trying to make contact with the receiver at the line. Everyone in the country knew that the ball was going to Hill and Kelce on that last drive in regulation but they did't even try to make it hard for them to get downfield. Especially when you have all those guys playing cover 3 or 4 deep. -
Former Bengal Ross Browner has passed

Got to meet him once. A true gentleman! -
Coach Wynn did a great job at Newport and turned that program around quickly. Tough loss for Newport but at least the kids that played for him got to experience success. Hopefully that trend can continue.

Bengals Off Season

The Texans are running a close second at this point! -
That drives me nuts. See it all the time now in basketball. Often times they are contested while guys are standing wide open in the lane in a 1 point ballgame!

As the song says: "Don't know what you got 'til it's gone" They ran off the best 2 coaches they've had in recent history. Yeah, Cronin didn't get to any Final Fours but he's a heck of a coach. Tough to get kids to buy into his system but he knows what he's doing. Hopefully he does well at UCLA. Good guy and puts everything into his job. Tells it like it is. Not many coaches doing that now.

Roethlisberger Not Gone Yet

I'll give you the potentially "Great QB." However that is totally reliant on him getting back to 100% and getting a line to protect him. Past that, you are reaching: "Motivated Coach" just means the he hasn't done enough to have a secure job. "A few players away" is correct if by "a few" you mean about 15 that are substantially better than the current players at that position. "Capable of beating anyone..." Any team in the NFL is capable of beating anyone on a given Sunday. Good teams get that done, the Bengals do not. "Coming Close" to winning a game, isn't winning a game. On the PGA Tour, if you come close, you still win a bunch of money. In the NFL if you come close, you are just a Looser. -
What would you change in MLB?
catholicdude replied to Jumper_Dad's topic in Major League Baseball (MLB)
In addition to the revenue sharing and salary cap mentioned above: -7 inning games -Pitch Clock -Extra innings start with runner on second -If they can't get a salary cap with the union, then make the Luxury tax 31times whatever you spend over the threshold. In other words, for every dollar you spend over the limit, you give that same amount to every other team. Works the same as a salary cap in the end without "capping" a players ability to earn. The current luxury tax means nothing to the big market teams. -
Probably won't be a fan favorite with this pick but I think Joe B Hall might be on this list. One title and several bad seasons with tons of talent on the roster. Great guy, average coach.
