The play was still live, while Cody was running off the field with helmet off, a Bama player fell on the ball then handed the ball to the another player who then took the knee, play was dead as soon as the bama player fell on it. Doesn't matter no, but a comment was made about Bama could have scored. If the ball went pass the LOS then game over, but the Refs stood and watched like it was a live ball. A penalty should have been call, anyway it is sugar coated. SEC refs have been horrible this year. The also blew a big call in the UF/Miss State game last night.

Already got a good one coming in. To play for a championship you need luck, and Bama got lucky today. They were outplayed and won, so great win for them. UT is getting better and are not that far from being back to the top of the SEC.

UT should be lining up for another kick after a 15 yard penalty for the bama player taking his helmet off.

Raceland plays the winner of the Lynn Camp and Berea game which is this Friday in Berea.

This will be the first time i'm gonna miss this game in about 15 years, as I will be out of town. LC will need to do what they do best pound the ball right at them. If Steele has a big night I look for the Cats to win. If I'm right this is a game in which the LC loses it would give Lynn Camp's seniors no wins against the Jackets, so that should get them fired up. Actually Lynn Camp can finish anywhere from 2nd to 4th. Williamsburg will either be second or third, depending on the LC game. LC loses to both Williamsburg and Berea, they will be 4th.

Congrats to C-ville on winning the district title. Win or lose against Clinton they have won the district. LC and Williamsburg for second next week. The Jackets had a lot of chances to win tonight but turned the ball over several times in the red zone.

Looks like its going to be another wet and nasty Friday night. How will the weather impact the game tonight? Both teams showed they can win in bad weather. I think if Williamsburg can get the score in high 20s or 30s they will win the game.

If Campellsville wins then yes, if not it is Williamsburg to lose if they can win out. However, if the jackets beat c-ville, and LC beats the jackets, LC could be the top seed based off the pts. On to the game, looking at C-ville, they seem to be a better road team then a home team. C-ville should go undefeated on the road. If Williamsburg is healthy it will be very close. The travel may hurt Williamsburg too. I like C-ville in a close one. C-ville 34 WHS 30

My favorite matchup on LC schedule. LC will cut down on mistakes to have a good chance. Harlan does feature two very good backs, and LC features two good backs in Steele and Pearson. It should be very entertaining battle. I will give the edge to LC at home. LC 26 Harlan 22

Big game for both schools before district, it could give both an ideal what they may be playing for in thier districts. LC d has average giving up over 50 pts a game, while not find much on offense. I think LC will play better on defense, and create some offense because it. I look for this to be a close battle right down to the wire. If Wesley Steele has a 200 yard + game, the cats will win. This is a big game for LC. This week it is not a 5A school, this is a potential playoff team they are playing. I think it is important for LC to play well this week. You can't keep blaming the schedule, its important for LC to be competitive. Hopefully they can.

It was 96 and 97, with losses to Pikeville and Middlesboro. LC has gone to the second round several times since 96, with several close second round games, with a break here or there, it could have been more region finals to their credit, but its all in the past, now to the present. The biggest thing for LC is try to make improve from the first game. They can't get caught up winning or losing, they need to make improvements and gain cofidence before district play starts. First big key is scoring, and playing defense in their last two games, (LCA and Clay) they have given up 110 pts. The last two losses has been the worse for a David Mitchell's team in the last 10 years. Whitley will come in fired up. Lynn Camp has won the last two meetings at LC, so not let down by WC. I expect Whitley to win, and win big, but hopefully LC will gain something from this game.
