Congratulations to him (and you). Parents of players from both teams should be very proud of what their Sons have accomplished and what they have been a part of . Not just for Saturday night but for the season as well. You probably do not dwell much on the fact that you are envied by many - boosters, alumni, etc - who only wish they could have or had a son play in these very special games. GReat game and great season. :thumb::thumb: -

I need to re-read that rule. Thought there were two options available as far as enforcement. One being on the ensuing kickoff. -

OH .....if only he had been here to see it and experience it. It was a game for the ages - one of the best -if not the best in the rivalry. Why did he have to go so soon ? Gone but not and never FORGOTTEN !!!!! -
HOw about co-winners - Scroggins and Ft. Campbell. Both, classic great stories from the season as well as the championship

LX Well stated. YOu summed up alot of emtions from both sides of the field. We (or at least I )appreciate your recognition the victory was earned. Thank you. Congratulations again to your kids and your team. Somebody came out on the short end last night ...but there were no losers. -
Cannot speak for all REf. associations, but the ones I am familiar with -the average fan has no idea how much time is spent and all that goes into their training and study. They do not have a vested interest in the outcome. They could care less about who wins or looses. They care about one thing - and that is doing the best job that they can and calling a fair game. Looks easy from up in the stands. From the games I saw this weekend thought all did a very good job.

CR..YOu are incredible. I would be willing to bet that a person could write anything on here and you would find an appropriate reference, exhibit, sound bite, etc. Good job... LSURock would be laughing his hearty laugh over that one. -

With regard to Coach G. I think it is time we pull off and let up. Let it be. Several of us (as we celebrated again at Marshall late last night -after another State Championship) discussed in all seriousness - starting a Fund Raising drive to send over to X -for a salary supplement. We certainly don't want any changes in the Head Coaching position. WE like him. We want him to stay - forever. So lighten up and ssssssssssssssssssssshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh -

TK Congratulations again on an outstanding season. YOU do have fine kids and a fine program. UNlike some of my brethern - I think I agree with Coach G. - that "we" were not better than you. It is what CR, myself and many other T pollsters wrote about what a superior and formidable team you have. I voted for my team in the poll - but was also fearful whether we could pull it off. We did. At least last night - when it counted we were 'just good enough." As far as you comments about T kids behavior after the game. I saw some of that and it sickened me. I am sorry for the actions of a few in a heated rivalry. Felt bad for your kids - just as I would have for ours had it turned out the other way. That's no excuse. I don't think it is what T is all about. Sorry it happened. YOu have to win and loose with class. -

UNBELIEVABLEGreat game. Congrats to X on a great and outstanding season. Great kids -great program - we just don't like each other very much. REspect yes - like no. We had no business winning this game. All of my posts were dead on -about how formidable X is -was. SEveral times lookded like they had the game salted away. Never count us out. 2005 - 2007 3 - 3 PEATS. IT IS ALWAYS THE SIZE OF THE FIGHT IN THE DOG. GO ROCKS - ROCKS FOREVER...:dancingpa -
gOOD Job pulling all of that info. together. Very informative. Thanks

Just saw Mr. Draper on 'Has. He hung with the Tigers today at practice. REaffirmed how focused they are and are not to be denied. IMHO he made it evident who he thought the favorite was - and who should win. INterviewed some nice young men who stated-they sure would like one of those rings since no one on their team has one.
