  1. Lafayette was not impressive but still won. Number 23 Eric Shaw i heard had a nice game. #5 from Franklin co had a couple of great catches. Lafayettes D shut down the pass but the qb trap killed them. Lafayette's line looked really out of shape
  2. Dunbar will win. They have to many athletes and are too strong. Dogs are starting off strong
  3. I believe this is one of Lafayette's biggest lines yet to come on offense and defensively they return three starters, I think. Give Bunch some time and he'll pick apart theyre D
  4. Lafayette by 14. Defense I heard has the potential to be the one of the best in the state. Offensively they have Logan Bunch enough said.
  5. Very predictable. How did Mercer's quarterback do?
  6. My friend went and he said the o-line was very good and there seemed to be little pressure on Bunch. Also the d-line gave reynolds trouble all day, making him leave the pocket. They seemed to be very deep at d-line to with atleast 9 people going in on a 3 person front
  7. Game could of been way out of reach but Lafayette contnued to get drive costing penalty's when entering North Bullit's territory. Lafayette's running game questions were answered with a junior named Darnell Burnside an absolute beast and yet another great running back in Lexington.
  8. Lafayette and Henry Clay need to watch out. I was at this game their were some mistakes but I think with Dunbar's running game they can move the ball.
  9. I'm just wondering when is Harmon and his coaching staff goin to get some respect. I hear they have one of the best classes ever coming up to the varsity level in the class of 09. Henry Clay as usual get's the higher ranking but Lafayette continues to beat them year after year.
  10. In Lexington there's a big one between LCA and Lexington Catholic. While Dunbar and Lafayette have been battling for years. Henry Clay and Lafayette also seem to be developing one too. Obviously i don't think any of these come close to some out there.
  11. What teams are playing today? Who do you look for to win it?
  12. Jerrel Greene out of dunbar will be the best running back from lexington this year. He has tremendous speed and size. Ty sparks is an absolute work horse for Tates Creek. Donte Gay from Henry clay is also a guy to look out for he's a great catcher out of the backfield. Terrel Combes is a huge back that's hard to take down from Bryan Station. They also have a small but quick back in Patrick Cornette. Lafayette seems to have the only unproven back coming in, from lexington.
  13. Tommy Gifford is an all around great athlete for lafayette. Speed is amazing!!! Look for him to be used more with the parting of chris tune. Also marquis clay should be used more this year. Thats only if dunbar doesnt run every down this year. Also Aaron Boyd will be great this year but Henry Clay always has some recievers step up. Remember Prince Stewart.
  14. Lafayette has was dominated in that game but i think it's making strides to be one of the best teams in the state. If any coaching staff from lexington could make a team compete with the big 3. I think this staff is on the verge to.
  15. What kind of issues? How do far away are they from getting PROGRAMS like louisville?
  16. Obviously they cant do any thing but get better. But I don't think they'll challenge this year with Henry Clay and Lafayette. But watch them in 08 with Jerrel Green and Steven Willis. I think using them both effectively and they will be unstoppable!
  17. When will lexington compete with louisville schools in 6A? Do you think it will ever happen? Do they have a chance this year with either Lafayette or Henry Clay?
  18. Lafayettes kicker has a strong leg. Just ask boyle county also is all city as a goalie. It'd be interesting to see him at wr with those hands. Also Jason nicholson remember that name, plays for dunbar tremendous leg wasn't given that many chances to kick due to offensive troubles. Both are good punters as well
  19. Logan Bunch from Lafayette is a great looking quarterback. He seemsto have the size and the arm to get a couple college offers.
