I believe Smith brings alot more to the table as far as being able to train the officials and help them improve. Billman is a great official but doesnt have the knowledge/ability of Smith. Baker would be a mistake.

Personally I dont think Barnes was next in line either......I think he released a statement saying he was staying at TX just so it could be spun to sound like he turned down the job. Now he can get some play out of that with kids TX and TXAM are both recruiting.

I cant wait for the first redneck to call in to "The Billy Gillispie Show" and refer to him as Coach Gillis PIE.

I agree....the foundation of our faith. I think about how the entire process...the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Christ were all part of God's plan because he desired a relationship with me. I am truly humbled by this thought and certainly not worthy of such love. I fail him in some way each day but beg his forgiveness and strive to do better tomorrow.

Anybody have an update on the status of this course? I heard that MSU was trying to buy it and if they didnt it may not open this season. I was told in the past day or two that MSU has purchased the course, it has or will soon open and they plan to shut down 9 holes for repair this summer then do the other 9 nine next summer. Any truth to this?

ESPN just had a report that featured Andy Katz again and he said just the opposite.......He said Florida has NOT been contacted by UK to ask permission to speak to Donovan at this point. He said, in his opinion, if Billy D were to consider UK it may drag on a few days.

Crager resigned his position in bball and fball at the end of the season. He was given an award at the regional tournament for something like 25 years in the position.

I had a similar discussion with a friend today who asked me this.... What if Billy D is purposefully stalling UK before saying no to simply hamper recruiting? He is coaching a major conference foe.....Such a move would cripple UK for a few years. My response was that if he is doing such a thing you can bet that he jumps to the NBA in 2 or 3 years because at some point such a move would haunt him.
