  1. My bad! Just saw that someone mentioned Lucas.
  2. What about Kareem, Jerry Lucas, Wilt Chamberlain (not sure about him, I don't think he won a college), or Bill Russell?
  3. As long as I can have Law Lofton Brewer Durant Morris I may not need a bench but for the sake of the argument here they are: 1. Fazekas 2 Tucker 3 Oden (He would start, but he would be an offensive liability to this fire-power starting 5, and heck Brewer and Durant are both 6'8" or taller, right?) From this point on down the list, 4-7 probably won't get on the floor 4 Rush 5 B. Wright 6 Jodie Meeks, (yeah I put him on here, he could be great!) 7 Dwight Perry, (I just like him, and I don't know why)
  4. You think McRoberts has the potential to be an NBA all-star, and be a career 20-10 guy?:creepy:
  5. I want Vandy to win so everyone will realize how good they are. If Vandy wins then the 4-5 game losing steak we have to them doesn't look so bad. Plus they have a Kentucky boy don't they?
  6. We could use him, but the Gators would be DEADLY with him! They would probably be better than they were this year! If Brewer comes back and they land PP, they would have two unguardable matchups!!!
  7. Hopefully he wipes the slate clean, except for the strength and conditioning coach!
  8. KA averages 8 points and 3 rebounds and Chuck has 6 and 6. Both are floating around 20 minutes a game.
  9. Hayes had 12 points and 13 rebounds last night! But he also had 4 fouls in his 20 minutes of action. He averages (rounding) 6 points and 6 rebounds this season but is OBVIOUSLY getting better! NBA.com has him listed as 1 year experience, would that classify him and KA as both rookies this season?
  10. AFTER next season, wouldn't it be nice to see him in Golden State? Baron Davis, KA, Jason Richardson and Morris would be nice to see on the floor together.
  11. I know this is bad, but it is still funny! Do the Dolphins and Bengals play this season?
  12. Tucker and Fazekas for sure. I get the point of your thread and it is a good one. Most of the good seniors are on mid-major programs like SIU, Winthrop, Gonzaga, etc... BTW Humphrey from Florida isn't too bad
  13. :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :dancingpa :thumb: :thumb: :thumb: Great Post! I agree, UK is slipping while the rest of basketball is rising. I don't think we are crap because only (I use this loosely) 31 (at the most) teams were better than us this year. The tourney proved that. Tubby is doing just as good here as anyone else would with this current roster. Yes he is the head coach and all the blame goes on him this season, just the way all the glory goes on him when he has sucess. He has a great upcoming senior class, a good upcoming sophomore class, and (knock on wood) a great freshman class coming in. Next year, I expect a Sweet 16, anything less is unacceptable; Even if Morris leaves. I could see a line-up like this: PG-Bradley/Jasper (Tubby won't quit on either) SG-Bradley/Meeks SF-Crawford PF-Patterson (hopefully) C-Morris (again, hopefully) 6th man= Jai Lucas (hopefully) So I hope: PG-Bradley SG-Meeks SF-Crawford PF-Patterson C-Morris 6th man= Jai Lucas until he learns the offense to take over the point. Which I hope Bradley moves over to the 2, and Jai takes the point.
  14. IMO, that can never be taught (how to stop it) PG's naturally have that "no-nerves" attitude. I sure hope he proves me wrong because he can make some unreal passes and has great size and length.
  15. Good Point, but I can tell you Tubby's '98 team beat Utah in the finals:D
  16. I think I understand you and might even possible agree. BTW, welcome to the site!:thumb:
  17. The problem exactly. Remember Marquette had a final four not too long back. Are they considered a power program? What about George Mason? UMASS? Get where I'm going with this? Consistancy is more important is evaluating sucess then big "high's" and low "low's"
  18. I would rather have 2 Sweet 16's than 1 final four and an NIT apperance.
  19. The madness of March isn't. He lost last year to a good UCONN team, this year to a good Kansas team, missed the final four twice, once because of Dwayne Wade and the other by that CRAZY Michigan State game! I can blame him for his HORRIBLE assistants though. They are harder to kick out of the program than most think but still, if Tubby wants them gone they will be gone!
  20. When does football season start, hahaha! j/k
