I am a Tubby fan also, but Tubby has done more than have ONE season with a post-season win! One year that Crean won in the NCAA tournament. If they hire him, 10 years down the road Tubby will look like a genius!

How bad was Tulsa when he got there? He took them to a Sweet 16 in like 3 years didn't he? I can't remember. He is in the Big-10 so he will have competition, and remember other than UMINN, Iowa and Michigan have new coaches. One thing that I will love to watch is Tubby Smith vs. his biggest NCAA tournament rival Tom Izzo! Those games will be good in the years to come!

Are they still under probation? I remember Minnesota had a final four erased from the record. Are they clean now?

Semi-State is awesome but I wouldn't buy rings. But you know what? I'm not the athletic director or a booster, that is their decision.

A better COACH than Tubby? Good luck. They may find a better recruiter, motivator, etc... but good luck finding a better coach and a better individual!

Come on, they may follow but seriously. Recruits want coaching, prestige, education (hopefully), and extras. UK has 3/4, Minnesota has 1/4!

I think he will be better at Minnesota than he was at UK! Mark it down. The Big-10 style of play is PERFECT for him and he will be treated well there. Isn't it kind of neat that Minnesota's last final four was 1997 (technically, according to the books they never went) and they had to cheat to get there! So aside from that what have they done?

I think Tubby just got to the point where he couldn't handle the criticism anymore. He is in a place where there are no expectations. If he wins 20 games he will be a genious to them. If he gets to the Elite 8 they will throw open the doors to welcome him back for another year; here at Kentucky we kicked him out the same door for ONLY making the Elite 8. Sad to hear. Unless we land a miracle of a coach/recruiter this program will be bad for years!

Next year will be PAINFUL! If some of you think 12 losses was bad, wait for a possible 18-20! Even if BILLY D came next year he would be called DOUBLE-DIGIT DONOVAN!

VERY young team! Lost a ton of seniors including 4 linemen!:scared: This season could be great or it could be a disaster, it all depends on whether or not the underclassmen step up. Don't worry when I talk to coaches and insiders I will report more.

Yeah, I think Cody Mize will returns kicks this year. I don't want him to but I think he will. It could possibly be Cody Mize and Casey Hayes but don't quote me on that part.

Agreed, his team works better when he is quiet. Don't get me wrong, If Law scores 90 :lol: A&M wont complain. He will probably have 10 points in the first 30 minutes and score 15 more in the final 5 minutes!

Florida State is HOT right now, and I don't see them slowing down. With that said I want Miss. St. to win!
