  1. Sounds like something you would find on one of those calendars! hahaha.
  2. Hey, I'm loving this. Around here (Lindsey Wilson College) very rarely do you even hear Jesus mentioned, unless I am in class. With that said, I will gladly take time out of my day for this forum more often.
  3. I was gonna post this and then delete it but I just realized that I can't. Don't I feel stupid
  4. I'll be first since I started this thing: It looks as if we are going to be VERY small at reciever. The only "tall" returning reciever we have is Tanner Perkins. After the loss of Dusty Miller and 4 offensive linemen (Robbins/Durham/Mink/sorry can't remember the fourth), can Cody Mize (or whoever starts at RB/HB/TB this upcoming season) pick up the slack?
  5. I know before the season starts I will make some useless threads about Rockcastle Rockets football. So I created this thread for anyone (Including myself) to post random things like, 40 times, thoughts, combine results, questions, comments, etc... Plus Rockcastle fans that are not members can see these threads and it may "flirt" them into joining. Who knows?
  6. Notice I said "Should" we Christians SHOULD strive for it, and I agree with you and Jesus (hard not to agree with him) it will never fully happen
  7. Go figure the Rockets lost and have nothing to show for it now:irked:
  8. I didn't even waste time reading this thread but here's my post: South Park= :creepy: and
  9. Call me crazy but I believe that "The pulpit is for praise, not politics". Politics ALWAYS seperate people, in other words EVERY person can't agree, then it wouldn't be politics. The church should bring people together as one body. We don't need politics driving a wedge between them. Plenty of time can be set aside afterwards at KFC or during the races to discuss which crook to vote for! hahaha
  10. Okay hahahaha, I knew someone would post like this eventually. Here is my reply to that. Arena football in Florida around May/June Outdoor track ANYTIME Baseball in California, Florida, Central America...... See what I am getting at? Grant it, people that are fat and lazy like me get killed walking around in 90 degree weather, but it can't compare to Caribbean baseball weather.
  11. WoW 23 posts in 2 days, I need a life! No offense to HSSB or the Duke-lover:eek:
  12. I see golf and baseball as similar. With both sports you hit a ball with a stick, but also they are the WORST spectator sports ever invented. I LOVE to play baseball, but I can't even sit down and watch the World Series. I realize that with both the more you know, the more enjoyable it is. I went with my friend one time to a golf match, and he would be telling me things like, (just trying to remember may not be correct situationally), "he's hitting off the back nine at an incline into the northwest wind so he should a 9-iron and try to chip it to the left." WHAT!?!?!?!?!?! What a man has to love about golf is how it takes average out-of-shape joes and turns them into millionare house-hold-names. i don't think i have to mention names because everyone knows the MAIN gambler that I am talking about, hahahaha. I played baseball and I realize that preparation, adjustments, and the mental side of the game are the more important in baseball than in any sport, (aside from golf.) What I believe makes baseball America's past-time is how easy, physically speaking, that baseball is. Parents can play in the backyard with their kids. Heck, there is a guy in my hometown that is approaching 70+ and he STILL goes out and throws around with some kids around the town!!! How many can do that with anything else. I appreciate the chess-aspect of golf, but please don't come on here talking about how physically exhausting it is. (nobody has YET.) So to FINALLY answer the question, yes, golf is a sport.
  13. Don't get me wrong, I like E.K.U they are close, (in terms of location) and I know a lot of people that go there but seriously. Oh and don't worry, I noticed the face
  14. I meant they were big headed. I know a few of the ladies were making plans for STATE:eek: I didn't mean for that to sound as if I was ref-bashing, because I wasn't.
  15. I was at this game in a basketball head standing next to a guy fully painted and wearing a big red wig. We were ready to cheer on our Lady Rockets, but S.W. came ready to play. We coudn't get the crowd into it at all! Any time we would get started they would knock down a three in the corner. The Lady Rockets lost this game before it ever started. No offense to S.W.
  16. Best of luck to them, but playing Somerset and Wayne county really don't give you much hope.
  17. Was this thread serious???? If it wasn't then E.K.U 599- U.N.C- 3.... HALFTIME SCORE
