Would someone give the Jim Hicks resume that makes his team such a tough out come tournament time?

Holmes will either have to be game like in practice this week or play starters a lot during Bellevue game. IMO, hard practices this week and Coach Henley plays his normal rotation at least the first half. Holmes has to be preparing for the region final and not worrying about hurting anyone's feelings.

Conner is 6-7 on their home court this year. Yes, they have the win over Highlands at their place this year. Hardly a scary record for promoting home court advantage.

According to their press release, session tickets will be $8. A limited number of courtside seats will be available at $10. Not much more than the cost of the tourney now.

I have no doubt what you heard was true. I assume it was from the CovCath internet broadcast. Did you expect him to get on there and complain? I understand your arguement for meeting in the first round, but another scenario is that whoever wins that game comes out flat after such an emotional win versus a semifinal matchup where you are still riding the high of the big game the night before. You can spin it anyway you want, but coaches want to face the toughest competition as late in a tournament as they can.
