The following week should be a good indicator for the Colonels when Coach Jim Black takes Whitley County to Log Mountain, home of the Bell County Bobcats. After a long road trip to Newport, the Colonels will get into district action at North Laurel. Perry Central comes to Whitley County the first Friday in September followed by a visit to Letcher Central. It was Letcher Central who stopped the Colonels in a big game last season.

:thumb: I told my son last night to look at where the posts were coming from while he read this. He was amazed. The BGP family is just that...family. When one hurts we all hurt. Did anyone attend the service this morning?

My son just got a text message from a friend, "There will be a memorial service for Mitch, Friday morning at 7:30, at Highland United Methodist Church across from the high school. Please be there to support Mitch and his family."

They will be throwing the ball around all day!

My son, who is also a soph, just sent me a text message that Mitch passed this morning at 5:38. God bless him and the family.
