  1. Congrats to the Panthers. Best wishes for Shootey and the ankle. Augusta will need all their options headed to the Shamrock.
  2. A win can sure help when you are hurting as a team or a community. Nothing but good thoughts for Bourbon County ladies. Nice way to pick up your teammates and your community!
  3. That seems to be pretty clear. And if neither of the competing coaches have agreed to being taped, a clear violation.
  4. First rate tourney with great atomosphere. We have attended the last 3 years and have really enjoyed it!
  5. I'm sure the season hasn't started the way the Panthers would have liked. I beleive there is talent there and as wearer of the Blue I'm afraid we will see it before the season's over.I will say I've always admired the way Augusta has supported it's boys basketball program! They also have a new coach on the girls squad that has made some great improvement with the girls down there. good luck to both squads.
  6. Tara is still a Lady Bear. Has had an ankle issue to start the season. But it's my understanding that she has been released from the doctor's and will be available for Monday night.
  7. Sounds like the Lady Royal machine is rolling along pretty good to me.
  8. My heart goes out to teammates, families, and friends of these young ladies. My prayers as well.
  9. Not unexpected in the Mason - Ripley game. The St. Pat - Pendleton has got to be a surprise though. Congradulations to Coach Douglass and the Lady Saints. That's a big win.
  10. ???????......Bracken started 1 senior, 2 juniors, & 2 sophs last nite. ( in the girls game )
  11. Tough loss.Impressed by the way the Lady Bears fought back to make it a close game.
  12. Tough way to start for A- Town. Big win for Deming in tough place to play. Congrats to Coach Johnson and the Devils. Look forward to getting to the Panther's Den to see a game that counts. Good Luck in the next one Panthers.
  13. Nice win to start the season. Good ball movement. Congrats Lady Bears!
  14. What a great post! And even better, some great advice. From a personal standpoint, some I think i need to heed myself. Our daughters must truly love us to put up with us!
  15. The only coach in basketball dressing better than Coach Hinson at St. Pat is the man running the cardinals in Louisville!
  16. Really liked the amount time split up between the lady bears. May not be a bad way to approch the season. Didn't really see any drop off in production in the first ten in.
  17. Tara is still at Bracken and serving a great Big Boy at Frisch's too.
  18. Exactly right Pride. I think another player in the 10th thats gonna have a monster year is Natalie Kelsch from Pendleton County. She gave up softball this summer to concentrate AAU on summer basketball. I look for her to put up some awesome numbers this year.
  19. Have to agree Pride. I know Ahrens is still young in time spent on the floor, but if she improves as much this year as she has in her first two years I think she can be a dominating player in the 10th. If teams don't come up with an answer for her it will mean W's for the lady bears.
  20. Looks like KCU knows what we all know around here. Some very talented ballplayers in this part of the country. Big Congrats to Torrey. Just my opinion, but the unsung hero of the Lady Royals. A true workhorse around the basket that is gonna be tough to replace for Mason Co. Very best wishes for Torrey, Cheryl, and Stephanie as they take their games to next level.
  21. I'm pretty sure the Panthers will have some Bracken Co. support as well.
  22. Congrats to all the Orange and Black. I love to visit your gym and watch the Panthers play. Great kids, Great Coach, Great atomsphere, and Great Fun. Thanks for a great season of Basketball - I've always felt welcome there. Good Luck with the Royals.
