I have received word that Holmes will be at full strengh on Monday against Dixie Heights. DJ was officially cleared as of Feb. 1 and did dress against Newport but did not see action (will see action Monday) due to the fact he had not been allowed to practice because of Dr.'s orders. How due you see the ninth shaping up the rest of the way

Does anyone have any details on this one? Did DJ play and did the formerly suspended players start in this one? I found a line score showing Holmes with the win 65-47.

The early reports were that they would be back in action tonight but would not be in starting lineup. They were going to have to earn their starting jobs back. DJ is cleared for game action on Thursday of this week.

Any thoughts on this one? Suspended players will be back, although I have heard strong rumors they will not start (they are going to have to earn their starting role back) but will play.

Holmes suspended p;ayers were allowed to practice with the team. If you will recall Coach Henley gave them credit for practicing hard and getting the non-suspended players ready for their game against CCH in a post game interview.

Holmes will be better when the suspnsions are over and DJ returns. The cloud started hanging over the Bulldogs after the loss to Clark Co. in the Fifth/Third (seems like they played CCH next , UGLY game). Now that it will be all behind them you will see a different Holmes team down the stretch in February. I hear the suspended players have accepted their suspensions very well and have really step up in practice to get the young Bulldogs ready for these games.

The crumble stops Feb. 1. The suspensions will be over, DJ returns, and the possible transfer from Taft should be elgible for a chance at a run in Feb. watch out ninth region!

Have any of you heard of the possible transfer Holmes might be getting? Rumor has it that Rice's cousin, 6'4 Reggie Revels of Taft High School, family has moved back to Covington and papers are being sent to try and get him eligible. Might be a nice addition to Jefferson coming back in mid february.

Rumor has it Jefferson is off crutches and will be in a walking boot approx. two more weeks. Also rumor has it Holmes may be getting a transfer from Taft High School in the form of 6'4 Reggie Revels (cousin of Rice) in the next couple of weeks. Any comments?
